Title: Hunger That Never Ends... I'm curious as to what the answer will be for this. I'm making sure that I have an average caloric intake between 1400 and 1600 a day. What I have found is that I am CONSTANTLY hungry, and after I eat a meal...I actually seem to be the hungriest??? The latest I ever eat is 8, but I have found myself so hungry at night that I wake up...and I'm starving in the morning?? My diet really hasn't changed much over the past few weeks with the exception of lower sugar/carbs. I'm not losing weight, so I assume that I'm not taking in too few calories for my physical activity levels, and I am try to stick to an average 40%carbs/30%protein/30%fat ratio. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this reaction or what I may do to make it subside? I'm starting to feel like a little piggy always digging for food and I don't want to exceed what I should be taking in :-) Thanks to everyone for being so helpful with the constant questions I seem to come up with recently! I appreciate it! Name: Deborah Date: Apr. 10th, 2002 Title: Re: Hunger That Never Ends... Try drinking a lot of water when you feel really hungry. Most people are chronically dehydrated and commonly mistake hunger pains for thirst. Your body uses up A LOT of water during the digestion process so you need to make sure you are rehydrating yourself. This is especially true if you drink diuretics like coffee and tea.
