everyone knows you will get weight loss results by drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day, why can't i get the same results when i drink 6-8 glasses of decaffinated, unsweetened tea?

Sorry, but just drinking water will not make you lose weight. It is helpful when used in conjunction with a balanced diet and regular exercise, but water in and of itself isn't going to make you lose weight.

Tea has other chemical compounds in it and your body sees it as tea, not water. Drink your water, eat properly, exercise.

the difference is that no matter what you drink water is the only thing your body will actually ask you for and it really is the only liquid you really require plus your body can go longer without food than water and once you add the water to something else hot it won't go through your body the same way it takes your body longer to warm up ice cold water so you can get rid of it and your muscles require water to rebuild and multiply
