No, they are just stories. I've heard stories about a wolf blowing houses down myself.

It doesn't. If anything, it helps in weight loss, but the effect is so slight you might as well say it does nothing.

The original poster was asking about caffeine - "even if their caffeine was non caloric diet soda". Yes, sugar and milk/cream will add to the calorific value of coffee, but caffeine won't hurt on its own.
