Advice: This Sound Like A Good Meal Plan?Hi there..
For the past month/month and a half, I've changed my eating habits drastically and began going to the gym in order to get healthier, and shed some unwanted pounds.
Can anyone tell me if this sounds like a good plan so far, I thought I'd lose at least 10 pounds in a month, but I'm at 6.. I know that the scale doesn't mean everything but still. Maybe you can clarify weight loss stages.. I'm have a fairly large body frame and muscles underneath the layer of fat.. I should prolly weigh around 150 pounds, but right now I weight 213. I'm not stressing too much on how long it will take but just curious. Should I be counting calories?
Typical eating:
Breakfast:
3 egg omelet with mushrooms, green/red peppers, onions, cheese, tomatos
Lunch: green salad w/chicken
or turkey stirfry w/ brown rice
Dinner: piece of chicken or salmon, asparagus or green salad, brown rice (if didn't have for lunch)
snacks: apple slices, celery sticks w/veggie dip, string cheese
For exercise, I've been going 5-6 times a week doing:
20 minutes bike
10-15 minutes stair mill
15 minutes tread mill
just started doing alternating days arms and legs weight training -- 3 sets of 15 reps on each machine
thanks in advance!

Remember losing 6 pounds is still losing 6 pounds. If you just started, then you might of gained some muscle along with losing bodyfat. Scale's always decieve, go by how you look in the mirror, measurements and how you feel.
Your nutrition plan looks good, stick with it and you will continue to see results.
