Title: Significant Weight Gain

I have gained 80 lbs in 2 years. I am extremely tired in the mornings and crave sweets. What is the deal--is this just lack of will power or something less obvious?

    more sleep, exercise, fiber, water...
exercise and weight training. the more you do it the better you feel and you'll keep doing it.
you may need to change your eating habits or get your thyroid checked. 80lbs seems like a lot to gain in 2 years.

      Hi,
I would also suggest getting your thyroid checked. I found out recently that I have hypothyroidism and weight gain and fatigue are the main symptons. It is easily treated with medication. A visit to the doctor would be a good idea in any case. Just don't let it go on needlessly, I wish I would've had my thyroid checked sooner! I feel like a new person. Good luck and God bless!
