Title: Am Workouts, Pre Workout Meal? I workout in the morning. Cardio-only days I do on an empty stomach. For the weight lifting days (trying to build upper body mass), what is the best thing to eat preworkout? How is a protein shake and a piece of wheat toast? Good answer Kelly! I prfer to eat everyday to keep my body thinking straight, but it is always after working out.
