Title: Nutritional Sustinance

I am a bit perplexed as to what to eat prior to and after working out. I realize this perdicament is that of a broad nature but any idea or direction would be most appreciated. (Height 6'3 Weight 180 lbs.) My ambition is not to become excessively large but to be adaquately toned. Thanks for the help!

I eat a normal meal 2 hours prior to going to the gym.
If you are trying to gain muscle, having 50-75 g of carbs with a high GI and 20-40g of protein, after a workout is the best. If you are trying to lose bodyfat I would wait 1-2 hours post-workout, then eat another normal meal.
