Title: Please Help

i've gained 10lbs back and i want to lose it. i'm 5'7", med build and vegetarian.
is 45min 3-5- a week good?
how many calories should i consume? my self confidence is going and i don't feel comfortable in my clothes.
i know the scale isn't everything but it's what in the mirror that counts considering muscle weighs more and i have been lifting. i weighed myself in the middle of the day. does anyone have any good advice?

Mel- three to five days a week is a good start. try doing 30 mins of cardiovascular workout every single workout and ALWAYS work your legs. whether its hamstrings, quads, or calves...get a leg workout in. make sure that you are lifting weights along with your cardio, do two muscle groups per workout (light weight, high repetition) and do some serious ab workout at least 3 days a week to keep the excess flab from the abs. cut sugar intake dramatically, this includes your fresh fruit...eat veggies instead. to lose weight and maintain muscle mass you should cut your caloric intake by 12-15% three days a week. so, if you are taking in 2000 calories, take in 1700 three days a week. cut any soda or fruit juice from your diet completely. and remember the scale is the most unreliable progress source, a lot of the time you will have retained water throughout the day etc. that reminds me....in order for your body to operate at peak performance you should be taking in 1-2 oz. of water for every lb!!!!! this will also curb your appetite. another trick for females is to eat a serving of whole grain cereal in the morning this has been scientifically proven to curb late day cravings. i hope that this helped you out a bit
