Title: Creatine

I have heard you can get some kind of liver (or something like that) problems if you use creatine for too long of a period of time...

That, and kidney problems, is one of the rumors. However, there is no sound scientific data to support that. I know half a dozen pharmacists and all of them (even the one who says it doesn't work) say it is not harmful. One of them says it could be harmful if you were not engaged in a weightlifting program and continued to ingest creatine but I don't know about that. I have never seen nor heard of any study that suggests creatine is bad for the body. You have it in your body whether you supplement it or not, just not the same amount. But if it makes you feel better cycle your creatine. The only argument against creatine supplementation that I ever heard that has some merit is that it can cause cramping if you don't drink enough water.
