Title: Creatine I am currently taking Trans-X creatine by scitechnutrition and am wondering what type of cycle I should be on...Like taking it for 2 weeks and taking 1 week off or something like that...Please tell me your opinion Name: Eric Date: Oct. 29th, 2001 Title: Re: Creatine It isn't necessary to cycle creatine. The reason many people do tends to be the cost rather than any physical purpose. Whether or not you do the loading phase (usually the first five days) is up for debate. I feel that I get a little bit better benefit from doing the loading phase but you don't have to in order to get results from the creatine. You already have creatine in your muscles, just not normally to the extent while you are supplementing creatine. I cycle it because it's cheaper that way. It is nice when you are off it for a while and go back on to feel the pump again, but this is probably less effective than just staying on it continuously.
