Title:
Peanut Butterso if a calorie is a calorie and you eat lots of fat but very few calories would the fat really matter? they say take in what your body needs and you eat your daily requirements but most of it was fat. does that really matter cause i love peanut butter. (or cause weight gain)but anyways this is a question that has boggled me.

Even though a calorie is a
calorie, the way our bodies
process these calories
makes a difference.
It is significantly easier for
your body to process and
use carbohydrates, then
protien, then fats (roughly in
that order). In fact, the more
fat you give you body, the
more likely it will be to
"store" that fat (becuase that
is the easiest thing for your
body to do) than to try to
burn through it unless you
"push" your body to use the
fat through a low
carbohydrate diet or through
consistant exercise.
Another thing to keep in
mind, you need
carbohydrate to burn fat
while maintaining your
muscle mass. Why care?
Because every ounce of
muscle you have will burn
calories AT REST!! So if
you must enjoy the
peanutbutter, make it a
sandwich and give you body
the fuel it needs.
