Title:
Gaining Weight While DietingI am a 39 year old woman who, has been told (and I must admit myself) I look very good for my age. I have worked out most of my adult life and just this year starting working part-time as an aerobic instructor. My issue is this, over the past few years it seems as if everytime I call my-self going on a diet to lose weight, I end up gaining weight. If I stop eating completely and try some liquid diet and can lose weight with no problems but of course gain the weight right back. Help me, there has to be a better way.

I would think that you are not dieting correctly.
Without knowing anything about what you eat, how you diet, etc. this is kind of hard,..
First off, I would say that you should NOT be 'dieting'.
You should just be eating right. Being an aerobic instructor, I would think that this is something you already do.
One thing that helps is to speed up your metabolism. Do this by:
- eating 5 or 6 meals per day. (or course, smaller meals than if you eat 3 times).
- Make sure you eat a good amount of protein.
(at least daily reccomended allowence)
- Some Weight training also helps.
Having a faster metabolism will help you in two ways. Your body will use more energy than it would before. Also your body will be able to lose fat/gain muscle faster...
You should run, or work out, (however) first thing in the mornings, on an empty stomach.
As far as eating right, eat a lot of fruit and vegetable. Try to eat less and less refined carbohydrates. This would include chips, crackers, etc. Try to eat only whole grain wheat bread. Drink a shit load of water. There is a lot to know about this subjuct, search around on the net, read a lot about this....
