Title: Too Many Lunges And Squats?

PleaseHELP! I have naturally muscular thighs...so will lunges and squats make them bigger...how do I slim them down? Will running slim them down or make them bigger?

    Squats and lunges are almost guaranteed to build muscle unless you use very light weight and lots of reps. Running long distances regularly will do the opposite: strip away lean tissue and fat, leaving you with a very stringy look. You might even look more muscular if fat levels drop very low. If you are happy with your legs then stick to a toning regime combining plenty of variety without too much effort. Lucky you!

      You can use lunges and squats to slim down your legs combined, and that is the key, with the proper diet and cardiovascular exercise. Need to keep your repetitions high (10-15) and a weight you can tolerate for the number of reps. Also try the multi-hip machine in order to ensure you are strengthening in lateral and diagonal planes as well. Hope it helps and good luck.
