what is the best way to flatten my stomach while decreasing my waist size?

    The simple answer is to reduce very slightly the amount of calories you consume
    daily at the present time, maintaining the same amount of exercise you do.

    It's healthier to eat good foods, (fruits and vegetables, balanced with good protein.) (<= I'm not talking "high" protein, just a good balance.)

    The truth is, however, if you simply reduce the # of calories you consume daily, and maintain the same activity level, you ccould eat bon bons and chocolate cake. The principle is really simple.

    The smart and easiest way is to reduce the number of calories while maintaining the same activity level, AND eating nutritiously.

    Also, if you find you are losing more than 1-2 pounds per week, increase your calories a little. Losing too much too fast messes up your metabolism, not to mention your mind and spirit. Good Luck.

      I don't have a message, I have a question. I recently lost 30lbs.but,I still have a flabby stomach. I can't seem to get rid of it!! Do you have any suggestons on how to loose the acess fat that just won't seem to go away. I am at my wits end!Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

        Losing the weight in the tummy area always seems to be the hardest to lose and the last area to lose in. That is great you have lost 30 pounds. You should be very proud of yourself. I don't know how you lost the pounds, but you need to keep exercising any kind of cardio work out several days a week, eat healthy and start some type of ab work out. Doing different types of crunches will help, but you need to do all of the above to lose in that area.

          <> is almost right. You need to keep doing what you are doing and stick w/ cardio.

          <> said that doing crunches will help. You can't spot reduce. Crunches are great, but will only strengthen the muscles under the flab.

          Keep eating right, doing cardio, lifting weights, and doing ab work and the flab WILL melt away.
