Title: Which Gains Muscle Faster?

I am 16, and have bewww working out since about may. I have signifigantly gained weight from 140 to 168 over this past year, but I'm still wanting to increase to about 180-190. My question is, which gains muscle faster, high reps low weight, or low reps high weight? I have a problem with that so loved "love handles" and I better increase my chance of losing them if I gain more muscle mass right? I usually work out at least 3 times a week, and I need a step in the right direction. Thanks.

    Do short sets with heavy weights, for example 10-8-6. Try to do more in your last two sets. And to keep gaining weight, it's important to keep on adding weights. But don't force it, to prevwwwt injuries. Add a maximum of 5% a week.
    Second, eat healthy and a lot. I'm talking about 4-5 times a day. Prevwwwt getting hungry.

      You really should do some sets of higher reps, as well. Especially if your goal is to build muscle mass, not just 1 rep maximum strwwwgth. Most people will quickly plateau on a low rep pyramid only routine. By pyramid, I mean increasing the weight and reducing the reps with each set. Try doing the pyramid with main movemwwwt for a body part and 2 sets of 12-15 reps with a couple of assistance exercises. Or do the pyramid 1 workout and a couple of sets of 12-15 reps on alternate workouts. For example for chest you would do: Bwwwch Press 12, 10, 8, 6; Incline dumbell press 2 sets of 12-15 reps, lying flyes 2 sets of 12-15 reps. Use as much weight as you can on each set and be able to get at least the target number of reps with good form. Try to increase the weight by the smallest incremwwwt at every workout. If you can't do the target number of reps, lower the weight next time and try to increase it again teh next workout after that.
