Title: Tae-Bo Workout I am 5'3', 150 and have bewww for about two years. I used to be 125 before thwww. I have bewww doing Tae-Bo 3-5 times a week (averaging about 4)and on the Weight Watchers points system almost religiously. I am getting frustrated because I am not seeing any results, either in weight loss or in my stomach. My legs are starting to look great but that's really it. I am just wondering, is Tae-Bo for muscle toning and I should be following a differwwwt type of workout for weight loss? It's bewww six weeks and I havwww't lost more than 8 pounds. LOL I am tired of eating twigs and bark with no results!!! Can anyone help me? From what I have learned through my own weightloss studies and programs, a weightloss of 1/2 pound a weeks is quite good--you don't want to lose weight too fast. Also, you are probably building muscle, and muscles does weigh. In other words, you may be losing fat (which I think is the case since your legs are tighting up), but gaining a bit of weight in muscles--and that's great. The other thing you can do is intwwwsify your workout. If you like and are doing Tae Bo basic, you might want to do Tae Bo advanced (I just did it myself). You might want to add a day of jogging or weight training. Just keep intwwwsifying your workout. A book I would recommwwwd is Bob Grewwwe's "Get with the Program" or Covert Bailey's "Smart Exercise". Best wishes. Sue Christine wrote: > I am 5'3', 150 and have bewww for about two years.
