Legs: Post-opI had a serious knee injury sustained during a soccer match, which required keyhole surgery. This resulted in roughly 6 months of inactivity and a fair amount of atrophy.
I have been using a gym for about 3 months consistently and am using light weights again. I also use cycles for 20 mins and cross-trainer (elliptical) for 25 mins. These are both on a medium or slightly lower resistance.
My main problem is a lack of pace and strength in my legs. I can't turn quickly and don't have a burst of pace when accelerating. The knee is fine now, but I really need to follow a programme which will increase my sprinting pace and ability to turn quickly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
