Title: Preparing For A Fitness Test!

Hey i have an fitness test in a week from today. I have been training all holidays and i was wondering the best way to prepare my body physically and mentally before it. I have to do the beep test where you need to run to a cone 20 metres apart from eachother and it gradually gets harder.
I would like to know:

1. What the best food to eat prior the test and how long before it

2. When to stop training, as in days before the test, so i can rest my body.
