Title: Basketball

I am looking into playing college basketball next year and am curious if there is a specific type of weight training program that i should use. I have lifted before, but not with a program that i was consistant with. Any advice?

    Contrary to general opinion, basketball is a contact sport; sometimes more telling on the body than football, because you don't have the benefit of all that protective gear. A good all round weight lifting program will tone and toughen your muscles and conective tissue, and enable you to take the punishment of flying elbows, knees hips and shoulders. I assume oyu get plenty of cardio practicing basketball, so you probably don't need any more of that.
